Workland is an app I envisioned after years of working retail jobs. Frustrated with the inefficient and outdated paper scheduling system, I conceptualized a more streamlined approach to simplify recurring schedule management issues.
I created a user interface that mimicked the calendar app on your phone. As you scroll, days off become available for selection and an open shift can be swapped with one of your coworkers to accommodate scheduling conflicts - all in real-time! I designed wireframes and workflow diagrams which led me to develop this practical user experience.
